Longarm Quilting

We proudly offer edge to edge computerized long arm quilting.  This means your quilting pattern will be the same throughout your quilt.  When dropping off your quilt, we will discuss many options with you to ensure the design and look you desire.  Some of these options include pattern designs, thread color, density and more.  We do not currently offer custom quilting.

Quilting Pricing List
 .02 per square inch
For example if you have a quilt that is 80 x 90 it will cost: $144 to have it quilted.

(80x90 = 7200 x .02 = $144)
This does not include the backing or batting.  If backing is not provided at drop off, you may purchase it then.  We carry many wide back fabrics and can also piece together traditional sized fabric for your backing (additional fees do apply for this service.)  You may also use the batting we offer (100% cotton or an 80/20 poly/cotton blend).  Batting cost will be applied when picking up your completed quilt.

We can also attach your binding:
Attach binding to the front - you will hand sew it on the back = .06 per linear inch.

(80+80+90+90= 340 x.06 = $20.40
Attach the binding to front & back (machine top stitched to the front) = .10 per linear inch

(80+80+90+90 = 340 x .10 = $34.00

If desired, we will trim your quilt for you after quilting with no additional fee.

Cardinal Creations Quilting Terms
We try our best to have your quilt turn out as beautifully as you want it.  However, we cannot promise perfection.  While we work hard to always give our best, we are human, same as you.  Sometimes things may not turn out the way you have pictured in your mind.  You are entrusting us to use our judgement, and trusting us to do the very best we can.  If your quilt turns out different than you expected, we will try our hardest to make it right, but cannot be held responsible for misunderstandings of what you had in mind and what we actually provided.  But even with challenges, we are always working our hardest to honor the time, skill and money you have put into your quilts.  When you send your quilt to us, you acknowledge  and agree to these terms.   We take great pride in our work and will handle your quilt with extreme care.

Quilt Preparation:
1. When sending batting and backing, there must be at least 4” extra on all four sides.  (Example: If your quilt top is 60” x 60”, your backing and batting need to be at least 68” x 68”.
2. Please mark the top of quilt and the top of backing with a safety pin if it matters which end goes up.
3. Press seams and trim threads.
4. Please do not pin or baste your layers together or attach the binding ahead of time.
